Private capital and ventures
Andriy Saranenko: investor and CFA charterholder
Andriy Saranenko is a Ukrainian investor and financial analyst. He qualified as a Chartered Financial Analyst in 2016, became finance director of the building firm West Development in 2018 and, since 2023, has concentrated on managing private assets and investing in ventures.
His working life has taken him from bank risk analysis to company valuation and then corporate finance. He has secured more than $15 million in external investment and credit lines for housing schemes in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk.

Saranenko and the CFA qualification
Andriy read finance and credit at Lviv Polytechnic National University, graduating in 2011. Five years later, in 2016, he was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter, the international qualification for investment professionals.
The CFA programme has three levels of examinations. Andriy is one of only a handful of people in Ukraine to have passed all three at the first attempt.
